DAWN GILLIAM is a 30 year veteran in the entertainment business. She started out as a dancer in 1978. Actually, her first appearance on television was in 1970 on Thai television in Bangkok, Thailand. She was one of the dancers in a teenage American band. Her father was in the Air Force and she had the pleasure of growing up in Asia and Europe.

She started taking a script supervising class in July 1990 and before her 3rd class, she got hired on her first film, “Boyz in the Hood”. It was a break through film for both talent and crew. That film led her into the union and gave her the opportunity of a lifetime.

2 years later she was teaching script supervising. Because of her secretarial training in high school and college, she was able to update and streamline the paperwork. Editors love her organization of the paperwork. Every student that has taken her class has been praised for their thorough knowledge, of filmmaking.

Dawn’s Script Supervisor credits include many Feature Films, such as: Star Trek, Cloverfield, Mission Impossible 3, Sister Act II, Boyz in The Hood, and Television series like: Alias, Nip/Tuck, Prison Break, and Lost.
