Her book, The Right Questions for Actors, is written in an inter-active book style that supports actors in their preparation and can be used for auditions and on the set. Veteran actors call it their “new Bible” when it comes to preparing for auditions.

Ms. Hartman combines the American acting approach with the British method to give professional actors a diverse combination of techniques to prepare for their professional career. Her versatile studies at the Juilliard School, professional training with Lawrence Parke, Barbara Loden, Mark Travis and Herbert Berghof and time spent at Centre Lyrique Int’l with Lotfi Mansouri and Herbert Graf add to Ms. Hartman’s ability to discover which technique is best for each student.

Ms. Hartman’s many years on stage in plays and musicals across the country and her acting experience in front of the camera, prepared her to become a respected acting coach and teacher in demand by actors, directors, writers, agents, managers and producers.

Most importantly, Ms. Hartman knows that

BELIEVABILITY IS THE BOTTOM LINE TO GREAT ACTING.
