ROEL REINE has been working as a director/ producer/ cinematographer/ screenwriter for TV movies and feature films.

After a very successful career in European television, with TV series FORT ALPHA, LEGEND OF THE GOAT RIDERS and other action series such as CRASH and UNDER FIRE, Reiné made his first feature film in 2000 with the action-road movie THE DELIVERY.

With THE DELIVERY Reiné started a new era in Dutch Cinema by making mainstream English language movies. Theatrical released by Warner Bros., THE DELIVERY became a commercial success despite its modest budget of only $350,000. Reiné won The Golden Calf for Best Director (the Dutch equivalent to an Academy Award) and the film was nominated for Best Picture. THE DELIVERY was also picked up by Lionsgate and sold to more than 50 countries worldwide.

In 2005, Roel Reiné moved to Los Angeles and has worked non-stop as a director for major studios and independent producers ever since.
